June 05 What is The Greatest Pleasure in Paradise? The Greatest Pleasure in Paradise
Abu Sa'id Khudri (Radeallahu'Anhum) narrated that Prophet Muhammad (salla Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:
That Allah will say to the people of Paradise, "Oh people of Paradise." They will answer, "Oh our Lord, we are present and all goodness is in your Hands." Allah will then say to them, "Are you pleased?"
They will say, "Oh our Lord, how could we not be pleased when you have given us the bounties of Paradise which you have not given to any of your Creation?" Allah will say, "Should I not give you something better than all this?" They will say, "What can you give us something better than all this?" Allah will then say, "I enter you into my eternal happiness and I will never become angry with you."

"When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, Allah will say to them, "Do you want anything else?" They will say, "Did you not brighten our faces and enter us into Paradise? ( A Hadith We Should Reflect On )
Thauban reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said:
Allah drew the ends of the world near one another for my sake. And I have seen its eastern and western ends. And the dominion of my Ummah would reach those ends which have been drawn near me and I have been granted the red and the white trea- sure and
I begged my Lord for my Ummah that it should not be destroyed because of famine, nor be dominated by an enemy who is not amongst them to take their lives and destroy them root and branch, and my Lord said: Muhammad, whenever I make a decision, there is none to change it.
Well, I grant you for your Ummah that it would not be destroyed by famine and it would not be dominated by an enemy who would not be amongst it and would take their lives and destroy them root and branch even if all the people from the different parts of the world join hands together (for this purpose), but it would be from amongst them, viz. your Ummah, that some people would kill the others or imprison the others.

May 21 Speak A Good Word or Remain SilentSpeak A Good Word or Remain Silent
Abû Hurayrah relates that Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak a good word or remain silent. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his neighbor. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his guest.” [ Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim ]
"O Messenger of Allah, which of the Muslims is best?" And he said, "He who the Muslims are safe from his tongue and his hand."
A respected Hanafi scholar says "Safety lies in remaining silent, which should be one's basis. Silence at the appropriate time is the mark of men, just as speech at the appropriate time is one of the finest qualities. I have heard Abu 'Ali Daqqaq(Allah be well pleased with him) say, 'He who is silent when something should be said is a tongueless villain'

**** UPDATE ****
** God Bless Us All ** April 22 He Who Intends to do a Good Deed![]() Narrated ‘Abdullâh bin ‘Abbâs : Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) said that Allah the Glorious said, "Verily, Allah has ordered that the good and the bad deeds be written down"
Then He explained it clearly how (to write): He who intends to do a good deed and he does not do it, then Allah records it for him as a full good deed, but if he carries out his intention, the Glorious and the Great Allah writes it down for him with Him as from ten to seven hundred times, and even many times more. But if he intends to do an evil act and has not done it, then Allah writes it down with Him as a full good deed, but if he intends it and has done it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed.
